How merchants connect

Three ways in, depending on the platform. The merchant does it once; Zikkio keeps the connection working.

Through an app

On Shopify, BigCommerce and Wix the merchant installs an app and approves its permissions. Zikkio stores the token and renews it before it expires.

  1. Click Connect store in your product
  2. Install the app on the store
  3. Approve the permissions
  4. Back in your product, connected

With a Google account

For Google Merchant Center the merchant signs in with Google and picks the Merchant Center account to read.

  1. Click Connect Google Merchant Center
  2. Sign in with Google
  3. Grant access to Merchant Center
  4. Pick the account

With a key or an admin login

On WooCommerce and PrestaShop the merchant creates a key once in the store admin. Magento 2 uses an admin login.

  1. Open the store admin
  2. Create a REST key or a webservice key
  3. Paste it into the connect page
  4. Zikkio checks the connection

Platform questions

Versions, tokens, multi-store and what happens when a store misbehaves.

Which platform APIs and versions do you use?
Shopify Admin GraphQL (2026-07), WooCommerce REST v3, the Magento 2 REST API, the PrestaShop Webservice, BigCommerce REST v3, the Wix REST API and the Google Merchant API v1.
Do you handle Shopify’s expiring tokens?
Yes. Access tokens last an hour and refresh tokens rotate every 90 days. Zikkio renews them before they expire, and again if a call is rejected.
Can I write prices on Google Merchant Center?
Not yet. Zikkio reads Merchant Center products today: price, sale price, cost, brand, GTIN and images. Products come in without variants.
Do you support multi-store setups?
Yes: Magento 2 store views and websites, PrestaShop multistore, and WooCommerce stores translated with WPML.
What if a store is slow, rate limited or behind Cloudflare?
Zikkio retries rate-limited calls and database deadlocks, recognises Cloudflare and HTML error pages, and refuses an import that would wipe most of a catalog.
Can you add another platform?
