How a store connects

The merchant approves access once. The keys work until they revoke them.

  1. Your product creates a connect session for WooCommerce
  2. The merchant opens the link and signs in to their store
  3. They click Approve, and WooCommerce creates the REST keys
  4. Zikkio stores the keys and checks the connection
  5. Or the merchant creates the keys in Settings > Advanced > REST API and pastes them

Does the store need HTTPS?
Yes. Stores served only over HTTP cannot connect.
Do the keys expire?
No. They work until the merchant revokes them; Zikkio then marks the store as needing reauthorization.
